Here is a list of the best dentists in New Hampshire, based on patient reviews, awards, and professional recognition: This list is not based on advertising or payment. Dentists cannot 'buy' their way onto my list.

These are dentists that I have become familiar with over the last 40 years, either by personal interaction, online, at Continuing Education courses, or by reputation.

They all have exceptional skills, and are experts in one or more fields. I would trust these dentists to work in my mouth without hesitation!

This list is not comprehensive, and I will be adding to it regularly.

Dr Michael Melkers DDS MAGD

Dr Melkers graduated DDS from Marquette University. He then spent 18 years working in his own office in Spokane WA, before taking over an existing dental office in Hanover, New Hampshire. In that time, he has attained Master of the Academy of General Dentistry - a very significant higher qualification.

Dr Melkers is heavily involved in educating other dentists, and continues to attend many courses and educational events around the world. He works to the highest clinical standards and puts a high value on the overall patient experience.

Dr. Melkers' office also has a periodontist (gum specialist) and an endodontist (root canal specialist) in-house.

Dr Elizabeth DiBona DMD

Dr DiBona has a special interest and extensive training in dental implants.

Dr Elizabeth DiBona received her bachelor's degree from Brown University, and her DMD from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated magna cum laude. She completed an Advanced General Dentistry residency at BU. Boston University awarded Dr DiBona with the Omicron Kappa Upsilon award for the Honor Dental Society, and the Horace Wells Award for outstanding dental anesthesiology. As a third-generation dentist, Dr DiBona inherited a gentle touch and sense of compassion, earning her praise from her patients. Dr DiBona is an Invisalign® certified dentist, as well as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
